Superstar rapper Drake, who is also an avid gambler, has publicized his bets on Super Bowl LVII. Calling his selections as “psychotic” in a Thursday Instagram post, Drake placed wagers totaling $965,000 on the big game through his sportsbook partner Stake.
The biggest bet is $700,000 on the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He has placed two separate $50,000 bets on Patrick Mahomes and JuJu Smith-Schuster scoring the first Kansas City touchdown.
he bet $60,000 on a tight end being named Super Bowl MVP
Another $50,000 is on the Chiefs winning each half, with an additional $30,000 on the Chiefs to win each quarter. Finally, he bet $60,000 on a tight end being named Super Bowl MVP and $25,000 on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce winning the award.
If all of these bets are victorious, he will win more than $4.5m. Explaining how he decided on these bets, Drake said in his Instagram post “pls do not analyze the logic behind these bets there is none.”
This isn’t the first time that Drake has bet on the Kansas City Chiefs. Last month, he won $2.1m after betting on the Chiefs to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game.
